 step one, tattoo this on your body in a visible location:
 district cheat sheet v3 
 step 2, specialize cities for roles, focus on one or two resources to get 
 step 3, figure out your win condition. You should know if you are building a space rocket, spreading religion, culturally smothering everyone, or killing everyone 
 Note: do step 3 before step 2

 really just get in and push buttons 
 
 
 civ is pretty hand-holdy as far as strategy games go 
 
 
 just have 2 archers for every city you settle 
 
 
 oh and before you spam settlers get something that boosts it... the govener or the policy card 
 
 
 Addison Tips 
 
 
 The easiest win condition to start with is either science or conquests, imo 
 
 
 Religion and culture are super fun, but I struggle with them on the harder difficulty
